Going by the name 'Thermo Scientific Momentum', the companies latest software release claims to be the first process and data integration solution to facilitate standardized real-time, data-driven decision making.
Designed as a workflow software for laboratory applications, Momentum lets users define, execute and monitor complex processes in an intuitive visual environment. The software enables multiple workflows to be managed in real-time, through data-driven decision-making; eliminating the need for customized data handling. Additionally, its open topology editor allows the user to specify the design, configuration and operation of their individual system and plug-in different schedulers to support a broad range of processes and workflows. Users can also manage multiple isolated units of automation, treating them as part of a larger connected system.
